Who is Tim Leer?

Tim Leer is the creator of the comic strip Weirdles.  He has always enjoyed drawing and dreamed of becoming a cartoonist.  Tim was creating his own superheros and comic strip characters and their adventures by age 10.

Tim was born and raised in Bismarck, ND.  He did a comic strip for Bismarck High School (1982) and Bismarck Junior College (’83-’84).  He completed degrees in psychology and therapeutic recreation from the University of North Dakota in 1987 and has worked for the ND Department of Human Services for 22 years.  Tim has also worked part-time for The Bismarck Tribune for 5 years doing sports and comic strip layout and now the Weirdles.

Tim has always been a fan of The Far Side and Peanuts.  He is fanatic about the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings.  Tim loves to play softball and golf.  He is lucky to be surrounded by family and friends who enjoy his Weirdles and also provide him with great Weirdle ideas.

Tim currently resides in Bismarck with his wife and 2 daughters, and can be reached at Contact@Weirdles.com.
